A tour of the console

What each part of the console is for, and where to find things.

The console is split into five areas. On a computer they run across the top; on a phone they sit in the tab bar at the bottom.

AreaWhat it’s for
TodayHow the business is doing, and what needs you next
VaultEvery copy of every card you own, and how cards come in
ChannelsWhere you sell, starting with eBay: what to list, restock or reprice
OrdersWhat to ship, and what has sold
SourcingWhat to buy, deals worth a look, and market prices

Some parts of these areas are still being brought online. They show greyed out with a note saying they aren’t on the cloud console yet, and they’ll light up as they arrive.

Today

The dashboard. It shows this month and all time at a glance (revenue, profit, cards sold), revenue and profit month by month, and a count of your inventory by status. Start here each morning.

Inventory

Every copy you own, one row each. Filter by status (for example in hand, listed or sold) and by set, or search by card name, number or ID. Each copy has an ID like INV-0042 that stays with it for good.

Open a copy to see its whole story: what it cost, where it came from (a purchase or a pack you opened), where it lives in your binders or boxes, its photos, its eBay listing, and what it sold for.

The listing desk

Under Channels, the eBay page is the listing desk. It works through what’s waiting on you, in order:

  • Ready to list: copies with everything they need to go up on eBay.
  • Resale to verify: copies someone should look over before they’re listed.
  • Needs photos: copies that are ready apart from their pictures.
  • Restock waiting: listings whose copy sold, with the steps to put the next one up in Seller Hub.
  • Price check: live listings whose price has drifted from the market.
  • Pick Your Card: set listings where buyers choose their card from a list.

The desk works out what to do next, and you carry it out in Seller Hub. See Channels and eBay.

To ship

Orders that have sold and haven’t gone out yet, soonest ship-by date first, with the binder slot or box each card is in so you can pull it quickly.

Sales

Every sale, with what it cost you, the fees, and the profit. Filter by month or set. Open a sale to see the copy that sold and the order’s shipping status.
